「やかましいッ！うっおとしいぜッ！！おまえらッ！」(vol. 17) …Legendary typo. Jotaro meant to say “Uttoosii ze!!” (You’re fuckin annoying!) but instead, it came out this awkward choking “u—! Otosii ze!!” due to the editor’s mistake.
To put it in English, “Y—! fuckinnoying!!” Jotaro’s Painfully Embarrassing Adventures.
Part 3 is pretty famous for a LARGE amount of typos actually, though this in particular is a Hall-of-Fame-level example. The tankoubon correct this, unfortunately… (^q^ )
When Kakyouin is fighting the Tower of Gray, the enemy taunts him saying “I’ll rip and tear your tongue out and make you writhe out of sheer pain!” (おれに舌をひきちぎられるとくるいもだえるンだぞッ！苦しみでなァ！) To which Kakyouin replies, “you’ll make me writhe?”
「わたしの『法皇の緑』は…ひきちぎるとくるい、もだえるのだ 喜びでな！」 With my Hierophant Green… Ripping and tearing at it does make it writhe— out of joy! Watasi no Haierofanto guriin ha… hikitigiru to kurui, modaeru no da yorokobi de na!
If you couldn’t tell from just the fact that Kakyouin’s Stand is tentacles ropes, then here is is plainly: Kakyouin is a masochist. Ah, tighter, tighter!
If you pin a string down at one end and pull the other in every direction, the pin becomes in the center. If you pin a person down at one end, it becomes the starting position. A circle comes once a month, and here we begin again.
A short film illustrating a stranger’s death and the connections between people living separate lives. A thoughtful combination of rotoscope and hand-drawn charcoal animation is employed, resulting in an imaginative yet realistic story.
